Poured a black body with minimal head and no lace. Smell is straight up cinnamon and dough like a churro, at least the cinnamon part, with some vanilla. Booze is mostly well hidden with some minimal heat and vanilla underneath a chocolate, cinnamon and burnt toast taste with smidge of vanilla and nuttiness on finish in this medium to heavy bodied beer that is a little slick.

From a growler into a snifter. Filled 12/20/20, had the same day. Don’t know when this was released.
Pours near black, very opaque- no light penetrates, thick looking with no head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate, bourbon as it warms, some coconut, a nutty aroma- pecans, almonds? Smells great, in any event. Tastes great, too. Bourbon, vanilla, cinnamon, malt, chocolate, coconut, some oak, a light nutty flavor. Smooth, a very good full body, appropriately carbonated.
This is really good. There’s a nice balance between the add- ins, barrels and base. A surprising amount of chocolate comes through, and while I’m not aware there’s any coconut or nuts in this, it sure seemed like it, and they were good. Would definitely like to have this again.
