16 oz. can from 3 Sons. Pours inky black. Smells of coconut, nutty malts, oak, and something like bourbon. Tastes very sweet. Coconut and chocolate. Nutty and oaky. There's a bitterness from something. Coconut throughout. I don't get barrel out of it, strangely. Heavy. Slow. Big and stupid, dominated by coconut, but ultimately pretty tasty.

8 oz. pour. Super thick, not too sweet, but I got all the notes. More barrel and this would be amazing. I enjoy sipping beers cold and noticing changes as they warm. This was an excellent example of additional notes coming out as it warmed and opened up.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This one smells mostly like big sweet and creamy coconut, with milk chocolate fudge, some light almond, and caramel.
I'm not sure what barrels they used here, as the barrel is very, very light - almost imperceptible. The coconut is done quite well, though. I'd want more barrel to help cut the sweetness a tad. I'd also maybe want more almond.
This is a little bit heavy and syrupy, with a lower level of carbonation. There's not much booziness, though.
I've liked a lot of Hidden Springs stuff in the past, and this is pretty solid. It's far from their best though.
