750 mL bottle. Bright red. Smells of earthy notes and plum. Lots of earthy yeast. Tastes lightly tart with deep berry flavors. Distinct blackcurrant. Never gets too tart. Mineral notes as the earthy yeast builds in the finish. Light, very drinkable. Excellent.

Bright reddish pink color with no activity. Gets deep hazy and veiled as more yeast is poured. Slightly foamy pink 2 finger head, lasting around 5 minutes, with shy legs but good swirl reaction and lacing. Flavors of cranberries, blackcurrants, wheat, wild yeast, wood, and floral hops. Slick and smooth medium body with high crispy carbonation. Medium to strong strength finish, funky tart fruits with a gentle grainy final and sharp yeast. Quite sour, a bit too much for my taste, still decently enjoyable. Passable freshness yet the complexity is good from the soft barrel effect. Overall high quality craft.

Bottle: Poured a reddish color ale with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fresh cassis notes with some tart notes with light oak and subtle funky notes is quite enticing. Taste is a great mix of balanced notes of fresh cassis with some oak and light tart notes with some light residual sugar notes with a light funky finish. Body is about average with good carbonation. Super well balanced with limited acidity, some good drinkability with plenty of complex notes.

Best by date of the 14th of October, 2017.
Moderate pour yields a 1/2 inch light pink head over a reddish pink body with some nice lacing. Wow, nose of funk (blue cheese!) and citrus. Very nice currant flavor with a nice, tart finish. Feel is adequate for the style and overall, yet another eye opener from the guys way up north on the Gaspe peninsula!
