Sampled on tap at Prairie Rock brewing co. Pours a dark blackish brown and topped with a toffee brown caramel head.
S: Smell is watered down coffee but not in a bad way, like it is supposed to be. Lite chocolate, lite coffee and a decent amount of citrusy hops.
T/MF: A decently medium bodied thick and chewy ale with a good amount of carbonation to keep things interesting. Taste is a good balance between mild citrusy hops and chocolate and mild coffee goodness.
D: Pretty damn good after a long day at work and even better when you can talk the beer over with the man who brewed it. Thanks Jim.
