I have no idea why this beer has such a low rating - probably because it's a lager. Imagine that. Great head that kept it all the way to the end. Nice clean tasting beer that doesn't seem at all like it's 8.5 ABV. Incredibly smooth mouthfeel. I'd definitely purchase it again.

A nice option on this rotational brew. Recommended if you can try it

Hazy, golden yellow body topped with a thick, sticky head. The aroma is an odd combination of caramel and dull, aged citrus zest. The flavor has a touch of diacetyl presence along with a dull grapefruit element; bitter and boozy. Heavy body; coarse of the palate; a bit over-sweet and the alcohol is a bit too strong.
I'd really like to enjoy this beer but it is just too rough around the edges. For a lager, it feels rough. For a strong ale, there is little to balance the strong alcohol presence. Looks great, tastes so-so...
