A couple years of age on this now. Overall a little too vinegar but the fruit notes are still very much tangy. Looks a bit muddy in the glass - and the berries and cherries meld in a similar way. Nice beer.

Lightly reddish orange, spotty lace.
Fruity and crisp aroma, stonefruit and light berry.
Taste is fruit forward with a vinegary acetic tanginess.
Strawberry oddly, maybe from the raspberries that dominate the blend.
Light bodied and crisp, pretty easy drinking though a bit sharp from the acetic acid.
Overall it's pretty good though it could use more oak and dimension from the barrel.

Poured 650ml into teku. Color is a deep champagne pink with a fizzy 2 finger head. Head vaporizes very quickly and leaves a thin ring without lacing. Sour blackberries, cherries, and green plum. Some oak with minimal, if any, funk. Weaker berry notes in the flavor - cherry, raspberry, blackberry - and some green plum. Medium amount of sour, oak and lightly funky. Light feel, well carbonated, refreshing, nicely sour. It is solid for the style, but it could use a bit more of the berry flavors.

650ml bottle, served in a snifter glass. Pours a lighter brownish-pink body, like grapefruit juice; one finger white head, short retention, no lacing. Smell is heavy lactic acid, touch of red fruit, touch of hairstyling product, light oak, not particularly complex. Flavour is fairly bland, moderate lactic acidity, touch of oak, very dry, touch of maybe raspberries on the finish. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied, fair carbonation, a bit watery and lacking in some depth. Still a solid sour ale, but not with much depth, complexity or fruit brightness to it.
