L: Hazy with a tiny bit of reddish flavoring, head is very thick for an IPA.
S: Very sweet berry, more blackberry than blueberry. Smells great!
T: Banana aftertaste which is awesome, though the upfront berry has a bit of a weird spice that wasn't on the nose.
F: Very thick and creamy, as you'd expect with lactose and vanilla added plus all the fruit. Well done for this new "style".
O: I can't quite get past the spice I mentioned up front, but other than that a very enjoyable beer.

16oz can, served in a snifter glass. Cloudy darker golden straw body, one finger thick white head that is frothy and effervescent, great retention and lots of lacing. Smell is blueberry juice, lactose, banana, grapefruit, slight tapioca. I don't really get the blackberry or apple here, but that's okay. There is already way too much going on here, and I'll settle for the heavy blueberry presence, as it makes this into a fruity beer. This doesn't really hit the IPA category so well, but I think if this is classified as a hoppy fruit beer, this would come together better in my mind. That being said, it's tasty with a medium body, appropriate carbonation, blueberry juice on the finish, almost yogurty. It's on the verge of not being a beer, but for the paradigm of milkshake IPA, it is the heaviest on the fruit and lactose that I've come across.

Poured into a 16 oz Rastal pint glass. I found this to be extremely refreshing after a run in very hot weather. Medium/light mouthfeel. Everything was well balanced. "Fruity" without being too much so. Very good.

Poured 16oz can into snifter. It is dirty orange with a nice 2 finger off white head. It dissipates moderately and a ring lingers around the glass with lacing noticeable along the sides of the glass. Bitter and tropical hop notes with prominent notes of berry puree (black and blue), vanilla along with a touch of sweet malt. It starts off with sweeter notes of lactose and vanilla and turns into the juicy, hoppy concoction of tropical flavors followed by a touch of sweet caramel from the malts. Nice carbonation and a slightly resinous mouthfeel. Kind of sticky and dry afterwards. Another enjoyable milkshake IPA from BP.
