Saved for national creamsicle day.
16 oz can acclimated to 50°F and poured into an IPA glass.
Pours an opaque hazy, vibrant and bright, light orange, the color of blended apricot juice, nice color combined with the opacity makes for a gorgeous beer to view. Produces a short lived, 1 finger white head, leaving average lacing.
Initial aroma is big hits of real orange, smells like the whole fruit was used, also present is vanilla, smelling buttery and caramel like. The overall smell is sweet and creamy, and vaguely like honey. I get light notes of peach, and white floral smell. After agitating, creamy and buttery smells take the stage, accompanied by orange and vanilla who seem to take up the right amount of space.
Initial taste before swallowing is creamy/milky and sweet, with some vanilla and orange, which becomes bitter with time, but doesn't overpower the creamy sweetness. After swallowing I'm met with moderately bitter and dry, somewhat grassy hoppiness, creating a somewhat earthy taste when melding with the orange zest. This taste, even more than many IPAs, makes me want to take my time with this one, and I do drink beer slowly to begin with.
Mouthfeel is between plant milk and dairy milk, silky and smooth, and very pleasant. Carbonation producing small bubbles that add to the creamy feel, and can be summoned easily by agitating. These combined make for a texture that goes down enthusiastically.
Overall, it triumphs in every category. A very sweet, flavorful, and delicious drink that doesn't let you forget it's an IPA, it leaves me satisfied. My one gripe is one I have with many dessert inspired beers, which is that when I read "creamsicle", I always get my hopes up, and anticipate the taste of a creamsicle specifically, not just orange and vanilla, which is what I tasted here. Nevertheless, the flavors contained are packed in, and of good quality. To add further, there is a good level of sweetness found here, adding to to the dessert quality of it.
I would buy this again, as with many beers I review, it wouldn't be a regular purchase, but I would definitely buy it again.

The look is golden, not too thick, and there is light lacing as the other reviewer wrote. The smell definitely matches the taste in its strong notes of orange, vanilla and candy sweetness. My first impression of the taste was a strong resemblance to an Orange Julius, but alcoholic and obviously not as thick in texture. The first time I tried it I think I was surprised by the candy flavor in the taste, but this time I do think I had a little craving for it, because it is so unique!

Pours a hazy murky dark golden color with a thin head. Has an orange vanilla smell . Taste is vanilla orange its a creamsicle for sure notes of mandarin. Wow mouth feel is orange sherbert its candy in a can. Straddles the line between fruit juice and an IPA. I did like it thou.

Brewing Projekt Resist Creamsicle Milkshake NEIPA, 7.6% ABV. Pours hazy orange with a 3-finger white head that left some lacing. Nose is orange, lactose, and slight pine. Taste is sweet orange, lactose, slight piney bitterness. Outstanding creamy mouthfeel, overall outstanding. The best of theirs I've had, and they really nailed the creamsicle smell and taste.

Review #1427
I secretly enjoy a solid Milkshake IPA; however, I have not come across many that I would drink again. I saw this and snapped it up. This beer is less than a month old. New England IPA with lactose and vanilla makes for an intriguing combination for a beer. This beer is 46 degrees and served in a pint glass. The pour produced a two-fingered head. The white foam of the beer is creamy and airy. The slow dissipation left lacing on the glass. The color of the beer is SRM 2, a pale yellow with straw hues. This beer is cloudy. Lots of yeast are floating within the glass.
The first aromas I smell are tangerines, lemons, and biscuits. Nosing further in the glass, I detect milk, sugar, grapefruit, mangos, pineapples, vanilla, floral esters, and a touch of grass.
The flavors of the beer are tangerines, vanillas, biscuit, toasted malts, pineapples, mangos, honey, cream, floral esters, grass, vanilla, lemons, grapefruit, a hint of herbal, and bready.
The mouthfeel of the beer is creamy and smooth.
The body of the beer is medium, low carbonation, and a fuller finish.
This beer is ridiculously tasty. This milkshake IPA is well made. What I am surprised about, is they were able to showcase the hops. The hops are juicy, bursting with citrus flavors. This beer does taste like an orange creamsicle. I would love to have more of these beers in my fridge.

Can. Hazy yellow color. White head.
I like this beer, but it is rather sweet and fruity. Not very ipa like. It’s good if you aren’t in the mood for an ipa. Orange, cream, sugar. Tastes like what the can says. Tangerine and vanilla creamsicle.
