Brewery: The Brewing Projekt
Location: Eau Claire WI
Style: Sour

I am working on all the sours in the fridge; this is next on the review board. I am using a pint glass and serving it at 44 degrees. A pinkish-purple one-fingered head with poor retention was created from the pour. The quick dissipation left bits of fruit on the glass. The color is also pinkish-purple. The appearance is average for this style.
Nosing the beer, I smell sour lemons, berries, tropical fruits, sweet notes, bread, and marshmallows. The aromas are simple; I cannot perceive the raspberry or guava aromas.
I taste raspberries, a tropical fruit note, sour lemons, sugar, lightly toasted bread crust, and marshmallows. The raspberries gave the beer more tartness. The marshmallow is a gimmick.
The mouthfeel is chewy, and the finish is tart and dry. The body is heavy with low carbonation.
The brewers always do a great job with these XL beers. Overall a decent sour to sip after a long day at work.

Can. White head. Pink lemonade raspberry color. Thick and hazy.
Tastes like it has sea salt in in. Thick, creamy, fruity. Not super tart or sour. Raspberry and guava. Very fruity.
Good, but not as good as Drekkers.
