Shimmering black body with a brown cap. Smells delivers what was promised: coffee, semi-sweet chocolate, maple and a touch of vanilla cream. Taste is the same in that order of intensity, coffee being the most forward, melds well into itself. Feel is medium bodied, smooth and has good percolation from the coffee. Good all around stout

Same 12oz. can art as in the photo here but different colors & a slightly higher ABV at 10.3%. Sounds delicious.
Very black. No head. Nose follows the descriptors: chocolate, coffee, & a hit of sweetness that might be milk sugar, maple syrup, or cheesecake. Who knows. It’s nice.
Breakfast Budz is rife with yumminess. Boss pour of real maple syrup up front is a lovely way to kick off a beer experience. Drenched in chocolate – I often put chocolate chips in my traditional Sunday waffles – plus vanilla, marshmallow, & arrogant, swaggering malts. Thick. Drinkable enough to drizzle on Belgian waffles, vanilla ice cream, or just use as lip balm.
Excellent beer. And there’s a chocolate chip or something stuck to the edge of my glass.

Brewing Projekt Breakfast Budz Chocolate Chip Waffle Imperial Pastry Stout, 10.3% ABV. Pours black with a half-finger tan head that left no lacing. Nose is all chocolate and maple, taste follows, moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Excellent mouthfeel, overall outstanding to world-class. Should have bought more.

Can. Dark brown/black color.
Similar to the original, but seemed to have less maple syrup. Chocolate but not sure where the waffles are coming in. Solid stout to try for the price.

Pours a deep dark brown with a smallish mocha head that lingers but leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is coffee first, then chocolate and a touch of maple syrup. Flavor follows the nose, a tad boozy. Feel is medium bodied and lightly carbonated. Overall a fantastic "pastry stout". Already thinking about buying more.
