Soft, pale yellow-orange body; incredibly dense and creamy white head, rocky and sculpted; nice rings of foam cling to the glass. Yeasty, powdered sugar, oats and light citrus aroma; orange. Huge malt flavor, lots of biscuit; moderate hop bitterness; minor bit of citrus and tropical fruit. Heavy body; rich and velvety on the palate; residual sugars coat the palate; a small bit of alcohol warmth and bite; dull juiciness counterpointed with a mild overall dryness.

This is a most interesting New England-styled IPA. It's got a lock on looks and a very fine aroma. Surprisingly, the taste just didn't give off much citrus or tropical fruit flavors one might expect with Citra, Mosaic, and Idaho 7 hops. The can has no packaging data, so its age is unknown. I still love the beer for its looks and malty, bready flavor and decent hop bitterness.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy whitish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberry are present in the nose along with notes of grapefruit and orange citrus.
T: The taste has flavors of gooseberry, lime and papaya with hints of pine in the finish. Little to no bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this IPA to be quite aromatic, tasty, and drinkable - it does a very good job at hiding any traces of alcohol from the taste.

Can. White head. Hazy pale golden color. Lace.

Typical bubblegum sweetness from
BP. Melon, mango, honeydew. A somewhat sugary sweet ipa. Very typical BP. They are starting to blend together.
