Brewing Projekt Smoofee Fruited Sour w blueberry, mandarin orange, and vanilla, 7.5% ABV. Pours thick and purple with a half-finger pink head. Nose is blueberry, orange, and vanilla. Taste follows, quite sweet, slightly tart. Excellent thick and smooth mouthfeel, with excellent carbonation. Overall world-class. Truly a pastry puree sour.

Chunky blackberry puree body with a creamy half finger of pink head.

I get an aroma of sugar cookie, lemon cake, sugared blueberry juice, and vanilla. Over-sugared pastry.

I just spat it out onto the cement. Blech. It reminds me of spiked Hawaiian Punch with an extra 2-3 cups of sugar added to the glass. Just totally unacceptable. Come on. Descriptors of canned fruit juice concentrate, blueberry muffin mix, and white sugar. That's it. Nothing else. Definitely not any resemblance to beer whatsoever. Absolutely no balance or depth. It's just sugar. To gain perspective, my wife said it tasted like Tropicana Berry Punch, that opaque purple shit from the jug. It's just a big loaf of sugary shit.

Feel - drinks exactly like thick Sunny D with no carbonation and maybe slight alcohol buzz.

Overall, If you want mead, buy mead. Don't encourage these clowns to make a beer that's sweeter than Tampico. This should not have been released by any commercial brewery, period.

Pours a thick light purple color with a thin head. Smell is blueberry and fresh fruit. Taste is predominately blueberry mandarin orange comes in the finish. Mouth feel is sweet more than fruity or tart. A good fruited sour was a bit to sweet and the fruit did not match as well as others in the Smoofee series . still good stuff.
