The Brewing Projekt Limeappleberry Puff Tart Fruited Sour, 4.55% ABV. Pours opaque blood-red with a one-finger pink head that left puree residue. Nose is blackberry, lime, pineapple, and marshmallow. Taste follows, with lime stealing the show because that's how it rolls. Quite tart and moderately sweet. OK mouthfeel with adequate carbonation. Overall excellent. It could have used some plum to take the edge off the lime.

Limeapple Berry Puff Tart
The Brewing Projekt
Kettle Fruit Sour
Date: unknown
A low ABV sour with loads of adjuncts, I am surprised the alcohol is not higher. The beer is at 36 degrees and served in a tulip glass. A frothy and foamy light pink head was created from the pour. The slow dissipation left a sticky lacing around the glass. A pulpy fruity reddish-purple is close to the color.
The fruit aromas are ripe; I detect pineapple, blackberries, and lime. Nosing further, I pick up sugar, marshmallows, a subtle sourness, and light malts.
Ripe berries with pineapple mesh well with lime. The marshmallow and the sugar are not overpowering. A light malt profile with an elegant balance.
The mouthfeel is pulpy and coating. The body is medium, has low carbonation, and the finish lingers pleasantly.
A deft hand was used to create this beer; all the flavors mingle like best friends. The low ABV was a smart play. Tasty beer.
