16oz can. No dating information found.
Mostly cloudy, deep gold colored body. Two fingers of white puffy head upon pouring, results in partial cap and high ring. Leaves behind thick rings of lacing.
Aroma of pineapple, orange, melon, and a bit of pine and mint.
Taste is bitter pine, bitter grapefruit and orange pith. Just a touch of sweetness. Hint of onion and mint. Woody/herbal in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Slightly sticky with resin. Moderate level of tongue numbness. Very good carbonation.
Could have a clearer look and more IBU bitterness, but still a decent tasting West Coast IPA.

Brewing Projekt Tough Guy DIPA, 7.93% ABV. Pours slightly hazy orange with a four-finger off-white head that left slight lacing. Nose is light citrus and pine. Taste is mostly pine, some light fruit, faintly sweet, moderately bitter. Dry mouthfeel. Overall Very good.

I tried this beer off the tapper at the Brewery as part of a three sample flight. It poured a clear golden with white head that left some lace. The scent had good bitter citrus and pine notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was bitter citrus fruit and pine resin presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
