Appearance: Pours a nearly completely black color with a strong tan head. SRM of 23. (4.00)

Aroma: Moderate aromas of chocolate, dark malts, black malt, chocolate with a strong grain aroma. Some bittersweet cocoa off the end. (4.00)

Flavor: Moderate flavors of chocolate, dark malt, grains, some bittersweet cocoa and duskky grain flavors. Finishes dry. (4.00)

Feel: Medium-bodied, strong carbonation, Crispy mouthfeel. (3.75)

Compared to Fair State Tmav Pivo 12/2022: Pours similar, milder head. Stronger aromas. More cocoa, but less bready. More crispy and bitter.

Compared to Badger State SKI-BRW 1/2023: Pours darker, stronger aromas. More chocolate and roast. Less earthy floral, and dark English malts. Similarly sweetness, but more cocoa and roast.

Compared to Utepils Loonar Eclipse 2/4/2023: Pours similar, milder head. Stronger aromas. More roasted cocoa, chocolate, malts. Less bready and yeasty.

Compared to Oliphant Rusket Red 2/2023: Pours similar, smaller, lighter head. Milder aromas. More grains and yeast on the aroma. Less chocolate. Identical flavors and mouthfeel. Both are mild. Winner: Dusk Beast

Overall: A nice Czech dark lager here. Nice dark grain roast, chocolate, and a crispy clean finish. Nothing dynamic, but very decent and drinks dark and clean as prescribed. (3.98)

Pours. a dense mahogany color with a kaki head . Smell has posted p[ale malts , chocolate grain and pine citru. Yastrzemski is roast you and crisp nosed of citrus and chocolate malts . Mout g=feel is robust hoppy and malty with some bitterness.
