Barrel Aged Vanilla Stout

I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a three sample flight. It poured an opaque motor oil thick dark black with thin tan ring head that did not leave any lace. The scent had good sweet malt, boubon, and vanilla notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip. There was dark chocolate, bourbon, and vanilla presence. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.
