16oz can. No dating information found.
Partly cloudy, deep gold colored body. Two fingers of white head recede to a partial cap and high ring. Leaves behind partial walls and rings of lacing.
Aroma of orange, grapefruit, pineapple, and pine. Quite fragrant.
Taste is ripe orange, grapefruit, and pineapple. The pine comes on strong at the end of each sip. Pine resin is earthy and not so bitter. Sweet fruit and earthy pine linger together in the aftertaste.
More than medium mouth feel, with some stickiness. Numbs the tongue. Very good carbonation.
Lacks clarity and bitterness to be a classic West Coast IPA but has the essential ingredients, although made more modernly juicy sweet. Like the body color; the deep gold is striking.
