Pours a very dark chocolate brown; one could argue it is black. A very thin, paltry head of foam covers the pour. Aroma is immediately bourbon. An invisible hand wafts out of the bottle to whack you across the face. There is NO doubt there is bourbon here. A bit of chocolate hits the nose only after you've been slapped with the scent of bourbon. Taste lacks carbonation and hits with chocolate and bourbon equally. A good beer but there are better.
