12 ounce can, packaged 09/15/25 stamped on the label. Thanks to Brutaltruth for getting me a can of this when he was at the brewery a couple months ago when stopping in the area! Served in a tulip glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. I like the aroma, the brew smells like roasted malt, oats, dark chocolate, coffee and some vanilla. Taste is pretty much like the aroma, but with a hint of nuttiness too. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of soft carbonation. Thought this was a good overall oatmeal stout, I'll have to pick some more up the next time I see it since I don't see their packaged beers available on my side of Columbus very often.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter via the brewery! This excellent oatmeal stout
pours a dark blackish brown with a nice head of khaki foam that settles to
a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sport some light lacing. Nose of coffee,
deep roast, subtle dark chocolate, and faint char. Flavors hit the mark with
chocolate, dark coffee, moderate char, faint vanilla, subtle cream, and deep
roasted malts. Mouth feel is smooth, lightly creamy, medium light carbonation,
and finishing with a nice roasted malt note.
Overall, love this brewery! Excellent!
Cheers

I'm trying this beer off the at the brewery as part of a five sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with tan thin head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had hints of morning roast coffee. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with roast coffee malt base and subtle hints of cocoa and vanilla highlights. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.
