I am trying this beer off the tapper at The brewery as part of a five sample flight. It poured a clear golden with virtually no head and no lace. The scent had grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced with sweet rye malt base and grain and slight bitter hop finish. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid little fest pours a
clear glowing amber with a nice head of white foam that settles
to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and displays some nice lacing.
Nose of toasted caramel malts, light breaded malts, and touches
of spicy hop notes. Flavors exceed the nose by presentation
with nice balanced caramel, toasted malts, breaded malts,
and light herbal hops providing excellent balance with light
touches of apple and faint peach. Very nice mouth feel;
medium body, medium light carbonation, and a faintly dry
finish.
Overall, what more could one ask for in a solid fest?
Cheers

12 ounce can, no dating I noticed on it but I believe this was released over the past month or so. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours an orange/amber color with not quite an inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells mostly like bready and toasted malt, along with some spicy hops. Taste is pretty much like the aroma, but with the addition of some dried apples. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. I think it's a solid overall Oktoberfest brew, wouldn't be a problem to drink a few of these! Certainly worth trying if you get the chance to.
