From the crowler via the brewery in a snifter whilst traversing the breweries with
Bluejacket74 and his awesome accomplice in beer Laura! This solid brew pours a
medium dark and clear red tinged mahogany with a decent head of off white foam
that subsides to a thin ring. Nose of bourbon, vanilla, faint oak, and dark brown
sugars with some date and fig notes. Flavors slap yo' mama with fig, date, raisin,
oak, vanilla, bourbon, light Belgian spice of clove, faint orange zest, and rich brown
sugar. Nice mouth feel; medium light body, subtle carbonation, smooth, warming,
and a lightly dry finish.
Overall---more excellence from this fantastic brewery!
