I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a five sample flight whilst running an errand to the post office. The beer poured a dark clear amber with no head and no lace. The scent had dark chocolate, dark fruit, and rum notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to sip with sweet dark chocolate malt base with rum, raisin, dates, and vanilla presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had smoove carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
