Submechanophobic is a Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout and Barleywine blend. Aged in a Watershed Bourbon barrel from the Powell community pick. Rich, dark and decadent, a unique treat you don't want to miss!

Served in a snifter
As soon as I popped the cap foam erupted from the bottle like Kilauea oozing lava. This beer pours dark brown and is topped with a fleeting mocha head that leaves no lacing.
It has a nice chocolate, caramel, and vanilla aroma. I get hints of souring. Mainly good, but I am glad I opened this the day after I bought it.
Good chocolate, vanilla, and caramel flavor with the addition of some dry oak flavor.
Fuller bodied with an oily mouthfeel
The gushing and mild sour smell leads me to believe this beer will not be the same if I had cellared. I am assuming it was released in 2024 per instagram post I found on its release. Good beer. Drink it if you got it.
