I visited Galveston Bay Beer Company while exploring down around Houston a few weeks back. It’s a big, clean, kinda-industrial restaurant/taproom space with a long bar looking over the full brewing space located in the back. It’s a pretty big facility; basically a full size restaurant.
On my visit, they had 27 beers on tap — very impressive! Styles were wide-ranging, from fruited sours to lagers, from coffee stout to Belgian tripel, with plenty of IPAs and pales in the mix. They even had two different pumpkin beers! Of course I couldn’t try everything, but from what I had the quality seemed pretty solid overall.
The service at the bar was friendly and helpful with good knowledge of the beer. I had the steak taco for lunch and it was also quite good.
