The appearance was a murky brown color with a finger’s worth of eggshell white semi-foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Nice rings of lace. The aroma started with a nice blend of sweet oats to honey and then developed in with some earthy sweet to bitter malts. Hops seem to include some earthy, grassy and slightly citrusy effects. The flavor blended all of those previously mentioned aromas together fairly nice. Aftertaste seemed to lean into the earthiness of the malts and hops but gently spreads some of the honey in to mildly follow through in the finish. The feel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a tad under with a good carbonation and ABV. Oats and honey create a nice smoothness rolling over my tongue. Overall, really nice brown ale well worthy of having again.
