Tooling around Croatia on summer holiday and came across this stout.
330ml bottle poured into a tulip
Pours a deep brown-black with copious frothy khaki head
Smells of toasted malts, nutty with a hint of cocoa and coffee. Taste is sweet malty forward with a hint of cocoa, coffee, roasted nuts and mid notes of leather, hints of barnyard or horsey funk and dry, clean finish with very little residual notes of coffee. Mouthfeel is full due to copious fine carbonation, astringent and palate cleansing acidity. Well hidden abv.
A rather enjoyable stout - overall dry and with a pleasant bite.
