Copenhagen 11/11 2021. 50 cl can from Borups Allé, Frb. F. Kingpins usual can design with pigs face with a Mexican wrestler mask.
Pours opaque murky orange with a huge white head. Settles as 4 cm thick blanket of foam covering the surface of the beer. A very foamy beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical and stone fruit mingling with a tart citric sour scent. Peach and pineapple. Grapefruit and citrus.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Finish is dry.
A fine citric and dry specimen.

Double IPA...cool design...some interesting extra ingredients such as maltodextrin, wheat, oats and rice...
Looks great, amazing head and orangey yellow colour.
Deep complex malty aroma...not as apricotty or refreshing as a West Coast style IPA...
Hoppy, but not overly so. It's a great beer with a 7.5% kick, but doesn't blow me away ; ) It's a little too restrained and unlively for me, despite the hops and 7.5%. And I don't think I have ever tasted barley, wheat, oat, rice and maltodextrin in one beer together...personally I prefer just barley, maybe with some rice in certain beers ; ) Still, it's interesting to taste the result

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
