Part of our Pale Ale Hop Series, a series dedicated to exploring the flavour and aroma contributions of different hop varietals. With a slight malty back bone to support its modrate bitterness, the focus is left to showcase the unique aromas and flavours of the hop cone.
ABV: 5.2
IBU: 30
Our second hop blend in the series, with additions of Mosaic, Amarillo and Citra; Tropic Thunder is bursting with tropical fruit flavour of pinapple, stonefruit and citrus.

Poured a 473ml can into a pint glass. A one finger off white head on a clear light amber. Good head retention. Lots of patchy lacing. Lots of hop in the nose. Pineapple, berries. Hop forward in the taste. Lots of hop flavour. A mildly bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation.

An enjoyable brew. Strikingly tropical nose is immediately appetizing. After that, a well made pale ale. Deliciously hoppy without being overbearing. I'd drink this one again.
