Poured a 473ml can into a pint glass. A very dark amber brown, almost black. You need a strong light to penetrate it. A two finger bubbly tan head. Good head retention. Lots of fine lacing.
Roasted malt smells. Coffee. Licorice.
Tastes of coffee and roasted malts up front. A dry, mild hop finish.
Medium body and carbonation.
Very nice. The brewery calls it Black Lager. Could be a Vienna lager or Schwartzbier.
