A good go at a British Barleywine, but it is definitely not an American version. Very fruity and sweet, but the hops are tamed like you see in the British version. I found it a little thin and quite sugary, but all in all it was drinkable on a chilly night.

Bottle: Poured a light copper color ale with a large off white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet caramelized malt notes with some candy-like ester. Taste is a mix of sweet caramelized malt with loads of candy-like ester and light warming alcohol. Body is about average with good carbonation with some noticeable alcohol notes. Took a while to get used to the candy-like notes but I finally ended-up quite liking this beer.
