Very cloudy IPA with decent head retention and nice lacing.
Aroma consists of predominantly orange juice, pineapple, peach, a little pine and light malts.
Flavor is much the same. Hints of citrusy sweetness make way for a nice and long dry and bitter finish.
Mouthfeel is medium minus.
Would have liked a little more pine character, but a solid brew.

A very nice citrusy IPA, great bite and a pleasant pineapple aroma.

Poured from liter growler into a brandy snifter.
Appearance: Pours a cloudy golden/orange color. Fingers worth of head which gradually fades.
Smell: Picking up heavy on the citrusy hops, getting a lot of sweet orange and grapefruit.
Taste: Starts with tropical passionfruit and oranges that gradually finishes with a bitter grapefruit flavor all the while with a strong malt backbone throughout.
Mouthfeel: Medium, almost medium heavy. It works well with the tropical fruit juiciness present.
Overall: I'm pretty impressed with this one, the hop profile I absolutely enjoy most, a nice malt presence without being overly sweet, and from a newer brewery. Definitely interested in trying more from Monkey Town!
