Boiled for over 12 hours, this imperial stout was aged many months in stainless, transferred to small Corsair Rye Whiskey barrels for further aging and then conditioned on coconut, marshmallow coffee and vanilla beans.

On tap at the brewpub in Dayton, TN.
Opaque black-brown body with a thin but durable beige head. Low carbonation. Sweet coconut and chocolate in the aroma. Rich flavor with a good mix of chocolate and coconut along with some hints of roasted nuts. Lightly sweet, moderate strength of flavor.
Overall: a stout with significant coconut flavor stout.

Draught @ Brewery: This one pours an inky brown color. There was a wisp of a tan head that left no lacing. The nose is good. Some roasted malts, chocolate and a bit of coconut. The taste is also good. Roasted malts, some chocolate and coconut. The coconut is not over done. Just a bit of sweetness. Nice.
