Presentation: On-tap; 16oz pint pour

Appearance: Ultra-dark brown/black beer with a nice thick, dense dark mocha cap with good retention.

Smell: Sweet roasted grains, light coffee, milk chocolate...pretty nice

Taste: Mild burnt malts with a touch of minerality; mild, nutty finish with the ghost of a lactic twang.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, smooth; more body/mouthfeel than your typical nitro-Guinnes, etc.

Drinkability: Good

Conclusion: Good solid Irish stout; the only gripe is it's just a BIT light on flavor; but what's there is quite good.

Was a dark black color, but a little too transparent for a good stout look.

Smell was on the lighter side with some dark burnt malts with some sweeter malt odors as well.

Taste was slightly roasted malt flavors with not much in the depth department, a trace amount of hops in the finish.

Mouthfeel was light and dry.

Overall a great knockoff of guinness, but nothing exciting, to bad because the other 3 stouts they make are all very good.
