Poured a nice dark aber with a bit of haze and a nice fluufy off white head.
The smell was light with a bit of grain and pine.
The flavor has a light and toasty malt body and a bit of juniper zip leaving some pleasant bitterness with a touch sourness.
The mouth is light with good carbonation and a bit sticky.
Decent, but not what I would call aniversary special.

Presentation: On-tap; 16oz pint glass
Appearance: Dark orange/amber beer with a tight cream cap which soon fades to a thick ring.
Smell: Lightly woodsy hops, mildly fruity esters, almost reminiscent of Ringwood
Taste: Mild woodsy hops, light fruit esters, a fairly clean finish with a nice medium hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied and smooth
Drinkability: Pretty high for the abv
Conclusion: Not typically a fan of the style, but this was pretty tasty and it grew on me as I sipped through my pint. It's a nice, simple, well-balanced beer, and while it's nothing extra special, it's definitely worth a try.
