Presentation: 16oz pint on tap
Appearance: Dark garnet brown beer with a medium ivory/light tan film with decent retention
Smell: Sweet toffee, light roasted barley, and a bit of caramel
Taste: Dark fruit, light roasted malts, mild roasted bitterness, with a touch of burnt caramel...some mild peaty smoke as well...only downside is a bit of kind of funky minerality on the finish
Mouthfeel: Heavy side of medium-bodied
Drinkability: Pretty high
Conclusion: Not an out and out winner, but pretty solid offering...I didn't put the abv% of this up when entering the beer because it varies between about 6% and 7.5%
