On draft at Rock Cut. Poured a clear, golden amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of bread crust, toffee and some spices. Sweet caramel and toffee taste with a light spicy bitterness.

Low aroma. Caramel colored, roasty finish with a spackled hop character on the end that brings it into focus. It’s a tasty amber ale, as listed, although knowing it is an altbier makes it even more special

Poured into a shaker pint glass.
Look: Amber colored body under a cream colored head that recedes to a nice film. Light world map lacing.
Aroma: Toadted bready malts, toasted grains, black tea leaves.
Taste: Much like the aroma, the taste is dominated by toasted bread flavors and roasted earthy grains. Nice subtle black tea tanginess to finish off a balance hop and malt profile.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied.
Overall: Really excellent flavors and aromas for those who like the amber/alt style.

T: Toasted bread, nutty and earthy malt, a very small hop bitterness and some slight floral hop character. Very malty.
