look: 4 | smell: 3 | taste: 2.75 | feel: 3.75 | overall: 3.25
L: Dark black color, no light coming through, a medium frothy head and a nice lacing around the glass.

S: Lots and lots of dark Roasted coffee, almost no other aroma besides coffee.

T: Lots of dark Roasted coffee. Little bit of Roasted malt. The coffee overwhelms everything else. Not very much hop character.

F: Medium body, medium carbonation

O: The coffee overwhelms everything else on this beer, I don't get very many hop or IPA characteristics.

The aroma was the best thing about this beer. It has a very strong coffee forward aroma, roasty, toasty and earthy black coffee. I liked the base Black IPA better, as the body of this was a little thin and the hop profile was lost under the coffee. Nice Black IPA overall.
