My favorite brewery in Estes Park and this one didn't disappoint!

A somewhat flat oily pour with a ring of tan foam. It smells of baked brownies, bourbon, burnt brown sugar, molasses. The taste is bittersweet dark chocolate, roast, tobacco and a hint of vanilla. There's warming bourbon and wood in the finish. The feel is smooth and warming.

Overall this tastes like spiked chocolate mousse! Very decadent and the barrel balances it and keeps it from being too sweet like many of these 'dessert' type stouts. The barrel program here has gotten better with each year and this may be their best yet.
