Reacquaint yourself with our flagship crisp sipper: our summer pils is back! While the world was taking a break, we reworked our Bloodvar to be closer to a classic Czech style, with its full, soft body of bready malts and a hefty punch of Saaz hops for harmony. The ultimate refresher after a long day working for the man.

Pours a standard beer color. No foam but some fizz on top. Smells of grain malt and yeast.
Taste is great. No shortness of grain and yeast flavors. Mild bitterness and floral hops.
This is an awesome beer. One of my favorite from Blood Brothers so far.
A beer like this would put hair on your chest. Recommend it for all beer fans.

Can purchased and drank at Now and Later in Syracuse, NY.

This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells like bready malts, some lemon, a touch of grain, and spicy hops.

This feels pretty much spot on for the style, in my mind, with a nice bready and malty backbone, and a crisp spicy, herbal, and clean hop character.

This has a clean, bitter, but smooth finish, and a really nice drinkability.

This is very spot on flagship beer, I would enjoy drinking a few of these.

An inviting, bright, clear gold body, capped by a full, airy white head with a good couple minutes retention.
Aroma is a bouquet of hops, floral and sweet citrus, very fresh.
On the palate, thick, rich malt flavours. Syrupy feel, with sweet flavours of toffee, butterscotch. Even cotton candy. Light hops, of orange, provides some balance, but it’s still a medium-dry finish that only just avoids being cloying. Medium-full body and medium carbonation. Silky feel, wouldn’t call this crisp.
Overall, sweeter and more floral than I’d expect from a Pilsner. The sugars are a bit much, more balance is required, and more attenuation, to make this refreshing and crisp. That said, the flavours are nice, and the feel is soft and supple.
