Bourbon barrel aged stout is my favourite stout. But also - on nitro!
People think the whole nitro business is a gimmick, but they most likely don't understand the science behind it.
True, shaking the can goes against all conventions, but the way the head develops after pouring is beautiful to watch.
Gorgeous dark with a caramel head.
The nose is spectacular as well and the vanilla really comes through. As with all nitro beer, the feel is pillow soft. This is a fully developed beer but I find it just a tad too sweet.
