Sour Ale w/ Mango, Bhutlah & Carolina Reaper Peppers
This rousing sour ale is brewed with juicy mango and just the right amount of spicy Chocolate Bhutlah & Carolina Reaper peppers, currently two of the hottest peppers in the known world. This thick, exceptional brew is sweet with a perfect balance of acid versus heat that builds on every sip, but never overwhelms the palate. It’s definitely a sour you’ll never forget and a perfect date for late winter dreams of summer and sun!

Brought back in 2025.
Pours a hazy looking orange gold color that poured no foam. Doesn't smell spicy but more so of mango and fruit juice.
Taste is primarily mango with hints of sweet and sour. Now we get to to the selling point, the spicy peppers.
I have a very high tolerance towards spicy ingredients with my international travels, so I have to say I don't necessarily notice too much spice. There is a hint of capsaicin but nothing that makes me blink. If this was my step dad he would run for the sink, but he is a wimp that can't handle any spice at all.
So tough one.
Do you make it super spicy for weird-o's like myself or make it super mild for weird-o's like my step dad.
In this case it seems to be more on the mild side, so I can't judge if your sensitive to spicy things.
In my own opinion, drop a whole pepper in this bit$h and let me taste it, but then other people would cry about it.
So, you win some you lose some. This mango drink with capsaicin is cool but give me something hard core, I'm old and looking for something to knock my socks off...but then no one else would like it because I like weird stuff no one else seems to like. ;)
Cheers and on to the next one, eh?
