Okay. Let's try the third riff on this theme. This time the colab is with the best IPA brewer in Ontario, bar none - Badlands.
The pour is a bit oily yellow, not quite what I expected. Leaves a solid head as well, unlike Badlands' own stable of beer. The nose is mostly of honey, but it's rather weak. I also detect smoke among the hop scents.
It tastes nice, but this is one of the weaker Badlands brews I had (and I tried 67 of them before this). A bit too malty, without enough balance and definitely not enough body. Very boozy aftertaste and very strong carbonation.
Surprisingly the worst of the colabs within Devil's Trill XXVII.
