Another Over the Tap offering. 473ml can served into an oversized wine glass. Duarnd purchase. Canned January 18, 2023. Consumed March 25, 2023. Review from notes.
Appearance - Very hazy yellowy gold colour with loads of lacing and great head after an aggressive pour.
Smell - Grapefruit and maybe some passionfruit. Intense aromatics with some dankness at the back end.
Taste - More grapefruit with passionfruit, touch of pine and plenty of bitterness. Some pleasant earthiness too.
Mouthfeel - Medium full bodied, moderate carbonation and fairly easy to drink. A touch boozier than the ideal.
Overall - Very solid DIPA that holds up very well even after a couple of months.

This here (another one from Blood Brothers' Over the Tap day) pours thick yellow. And probably the thickest head I have seen for a long while (she giggled). The nose is strong on nectarine. The feel is soft and the body has a good balance of citrus, earthy tones and some bitterness, with a dry finish. Slightly too fizzy and slightly too tart, this is still a good, decent beer. Too bad I only bought the one.
