Okay, this one is going to be strong. Let's go easy on the bad boy.
Pours as dark as any beer, ever. Forms a wonderful mocha head that surprisingly persists. The nose is great too: chocolate, figs and bourbon.
The taste is strong. Gave me the shivers even. Relatively well balanced, though the bourbon is a bit much. You can actually feel the alcohol floating in your mouth after the sip goes down. It is sticky too, although I can't pinpoint the sweetness much.
All in all, perfect perimeters to an over-fused BBA stout.
