Copenhagen 14/6 2022. 50 cl bottle from BulgarskMad, Åboulevarden, Kbh. N. Simple red label in Labietis’ usual design with the bearded fellow in the logo and a signature from the brewer.
Pours slightly unclear golden copper with a huge white head. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with an odor of sweet stone frit mingling with citric fumes. Peach, apricot and tangerine. Citrus and lime. A little stale.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with as medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Solid and fairly bitter. A bit flat though.

On tap at their centra market location. Creamy off white head. Lots of lace. Golden sunburnt color.
Very hoppy with bitterness but smooth feel.
Hop profile is unique, but nice. Grassy and floral. Some grapefruit and citrus fruit.
Very enjoyable Latvian ale.
