Properly brewed nordic style pilsner with Latvian barley and Czech hops. The dry bitterness of freshly cut hay of Saaz hops combined with gentle hints of barley malt create the youthful light bodied simplicity of the worlds most famous beer style. Effervescent, crispy and mesmerizingly naked.

Mild chill haze to the otherwise clear straw to light gold color. Modest head but it leaves some longer streaks on the glass.
On the intial pour, I get fresh cream and vanilla. Subsequent smells include raw barley grain, corn, and a barely perceptible lactic sourness. No hops, noble or otherwise.
The taste leans into the corn the most. The cream is still strong as well. The body is much richer than typical Pilsners but the carbonation is accurate. There is a straight up bittering hop showing up in the swallow but the aftertaste is rather short. Sadly, I would classify this as being far closer to the lawnmower set than a Pilsner. It tastes like there is a substantial portion of adjuncts (corn) in this beer.

Pours a slightly cloudy, pale golden coloration with a small, fluffy head. Smells of doughy malt and grassy, citrus hops, with hints of earthy accents. Taste is a good balance of doughy malt and grassy, slighty earthy and fruity hops, with hints of lemon rind and freshly cut grass coming through. Finishes with a mild bitterness and some lemon rind and grassy, earthy accents lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light body and medium/strong carbonation.
This makes for a nice, crisp Pilsner with a distinct, lemony note to it that I don't think comes from the hops used here, if this really was hopped with Saaz exclusively, although there are more typical grassy, earthy accents as well. There's a good balance of malts and hops to this, feeling rather crisp and refreshing, although a little light-bodied, making this go down easy.
