Copenhagen 12/6 2022. 50 cl bottle from BulgarskMad, Åboulevarden, Kbh. N. Simple red label in Labietis’ usual design with the bearded fellow in the logo and a signature from the brewer.
Pours very dark mahogany with small off-whitehead. A bit bubbly. Settles as flimsy patch of foam floating in the middle of the glass. No lacing. Aroma is moderately intensewith sweet, toasted malty odor mingling with bit of peat and smoke. Sweet toasted malts, earthy humid soil, hints of ashtray.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, greasy, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intensewith a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a smoky touch. Lingers for a bit. Finish is a tad sugary.
Quite light on the smoke but decent.
