Copenhagen 28/6 2022. 50 cl bottle from BulgarskMad, Åboulevarden, Kbh. N. Simple red label in Labietis’ usual design with the bearded fellow in the logo and a signature from the brewer.
Pours clear, dark mahogany with a red hue and a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as thin, but unbroken layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet caramelized odor mingling with bit of a tart, herbal scent. Caramel and toffee. Touch of brown sugar and cinnamon. Citrus and chamomile.
Low carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intensewith a strong, sugary sweetness followed by moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a while. Finish is a bit sticky and sugary.
Somewhat too sweet for my taste buds.
