Yarrow and St. John's wort complement the bitterness profile of Tettnanger hops with herbal notes. Lager yeast allows for pure maltiness to be highlighted, which wraps around the strong alcohol backbone. A Baltic pagan take on a German classic.

Pours a clear, deep golden amber coloration with a small, foamy head. Smells of bready malt and and a strong herbal aroma reminiscent of ginger and bog myrtle. Taste is a great balance of bready, slightly caramelly malt and herbal, spicy hops, with strong herbal accents reminiscent of ginger and bog myrtle, as well as hints of peppery spice and honey. Finishes bittersweet, with some herbal notes and a hint of honey lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
While I'm not actually a huge fan of the style, this certainly makes for a great example of it, with those strong herbal notes balancing the typical sweetness perfectly. There's a great overall balance of sweet, bitter, herbal and spicy elements to this, while not feeling too boozy at all. Overall, another very enjoyable brew from Labieties, who seem to be able to do any style well.
