Dark brown color with a huge thick caramel head with eternal retention and leaving laces.
Aroma with notes of bourbon, cocoa, spices, lots if coconut, caramels and licorice.
Flavor with notes of wood, cocoa powder, bourbon, black pepper, some charcoal and piney hops. Dry and bitter aftertaste with a long lasting roasted and woody note.
Medium bordering full body with excessive carbonation.
First Oak Aged beer I had in Mexico; resulted in a woody and chocolaty brew with strong and assertive character. Good hop balance as well. Carbonation should be amended.
